Couple's getaway with great warmth
The staff were friendly, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed the breakfast which had so many options, really started our day on a high note.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but for what you get, it's still acceptable.

The Superior King Room was super comfy, and I had a lovely and quiet sleep. Tons of space meant I didn't feel cramped at all. Plus, the modern bathroom was lit up nicely and stocked with plenty of toiletries, which was a nice touch. Can’t forget to mention the amazing breakfast spread with freshly made scrambled eggs and good coffee to kickstart the day!

The central location made it easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. The inviting lobby, complete with a cozy fireplace, created a relaxing atmosphere, while the breakfast buffet boasted a variety of quality dishes, including some unique options like sausage rolls. However, the initial room had a malfunctioning TV, which required a room change, and while the second room was satisfactory, it disrupted our stay. Additionally, some areas of the hotel seemed in need of minor improvements to enhance overall comfort.

Great Location but Needs Attention
The location is fantastic for exploring Clifden. However, expect some inconveniences like a closed bar and outdated bathroom facilities. A tip for future guests, enjoy the beautiful surroundings rather than relying on hotel amenities. A cozy Irish breakfast would have been a nice touch!
